Do you need furniture?
If you need furniture or other household items contact the SHA Furniture Schemes.
Anyone can use the schemes, but if you are on a low income or in receipt of benefits then we will only ask you to make a small payment to cover storage and delivery of the furniture.

To prove that you are on a low income you will need to be referred by one of our referral agencies, some of which are listed at the bottom of this page.
We want to help people improve their living environment and all the items we sell are checked and their suitability for re-use assessed before we allow them into our showroom. For example, any electrical goods need to pass a Portable Appliance Safety Test.
Anyone can use the schemes
We want to encourage people to recycle items and that means more people re-using second-hand furniture. So, even if you are not on a low income you can visit the scheme and purchase items at a reasonable cost plus a small charge if you require delivery.
